  1. Why do you all always seem to assume everyone is using gas grills with temperature settings etc? I have an “old fashioned” charcoal barbecue grill which i love. Temperature settings are obviously totally useless. Should I place the grate low or high settings. Those are my only options. Fire is fire and that is about all you can do with it.

    1. The instructions say heat the grill to medium-high heat (375-400F degrees). Most charcoal grills have thermometers on them to let you know what temp you’re at. If yours doesn’t, you’ll know you’re at 375-400 if you can hold your hand about four inches over the coals for 2-3 seconds before having to remove it.

  2. These were lovely! I like the simplicity of the seasoning. Perfect for bringing out the sweet nutty flavor of the carrots. I used a hibachi with medium hot hardwood charcoal. I will definitely grill carrots again! Girls Can Grill!!
