  • Cook: 25 mins
  • Yields: 4 servings

Ingredients

8 pieces of chicken, skin on

Poultry Powder (see recipe below)

1 cup barbecue sauce

Directions

1Rub the Poultry Powder or your favorite rub on the chicken pieces.

2Heat the grill to medium (400 degrees).

3Place the chicken on the grill skin side down. Close the cover and grill for 10 minutes. If you hear or see any flare-ups while it’s cooking, move the chicken pieces to a cooler part of the grill.

4After 10 minutes, flip the pieces over. Cover and grill for 5 more minutes.

5Brush barbecue sauce on each piece. Cover and grill for 5 more minutes.

6Flip the chicken over. Brush sauce on each piece. Cover and grill for 2 more minutes.

7Flip one last time and grill for 2 more minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.

8Remove from the grill. Garnish with chopped green onions or parsley for color. Serve warm.

Save money by buying a whole chicken and cutting it into 8 pieces.
