Ingredients

Japanese eggplant

Olive oil

Kosher salt

Black pepper

Directions

1Heat the grill to medium-high (375-400F degrees).

2Cut the eggplant in half lengthwise.

3Season with olive oil, salt and pepper.

4Grill cut side down 7 minutes.

5Flip grill 8 minutes.
