Prep: 12 hrs Cook: 4 hrs Ingredients 1/2 cup white miso 1/2 cup mirin 3 tablespoons soy sauce 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 tablespoon pepper powder 1 tablespoon ginger, minced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon sesame oil 4 short ribs Directions 1Combine everything but the short ribs in a medium bowl. Pour the marinade into a large zip top bag. Add the ribs. Massage to coat and seal the bag. Refrigerate overnight. 2Heat the grill to 275-300F degrees with indirect heat. 3Place the ribs on the grill, meat side up, and grill for 3 1/2 to 4 hours. TIPS You can add wood chips to add a smoky flavor. Sweeter fruit woods like cherry and peach go well with these ribs.
