Smoked garlic is just as easy as making roasted garlic in the oven, but the hint of smoke improves your cream cheese dips and butter compounds.

Smoked Garlic

Use it in these recipes

Garlic Smoked Cream Cheese

  • 1 bulb smoked garlic
  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese
  • pinch of salt

Remove the cloves from the bulb and smash with a spoon or your hands.

In a medium bowl, combine the garlic with the cream cheese, until blended Season with salt.

Serve with candied jalapenos or red pepper jelly and crackers.

Garlic Smoked Butter

  • 1 bulb smoked garlic
  • 2 sticks salted butter, softened

Remove the cloves from the bulb and smash with a spoon or your hands.

In a medium bowl, combine the garlic with the butter, until blended.

Serve on grilled steak or toasted bread.

Ingredients 

  • 1 bulb garlic
  • olive oil

Instructions 

  • Heat smoker to 400F degrees.
  • Slice the top off of the garlic bulb. Place on a sheet of foil. Drizzle with olive oil. Place in smoker for 45 minutes, until the cloves are soft.
