Hanging pictures in an RV doesn’t have to be tricky. It just has to be done right.
Motorhomes and travel trailers bounce along the road as they take you to each of your adventurous destinations. If you don’t secure your fun artwork, it’ll quickly fall off the walls.
One method many people like to use is 3M strips. They’ll work if your artwork is light enough. However, I live in Vegas and my RV can get super hot inside during the summer. The Command Strips can soften at temps above 104F degrees, so that won’t work for me.
You could also try stick-on velcro, but you may run into the same problem.
To be on the safe side, I just hang pictures in my RV with screws. I use a drill bit a little bit smaller than the screw and drill a small pilot hole in the art and in the wall. Be careful when screwing into the wall because you never know what’s back there.
Then, screw in the screws and voila. That artwork isn’t going anywhere.
