Smoked Jalapeno Ranch Chicken
You'll need some extra napkins for this juicy smoked jalapeno ranch chicken smothered in jalapeno ranch dressing.

- 5 lb whole chicken
- 1 jalapeno
- .4 oz buttermilk ranch dressing & seasoning mix packet
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp olive oil
Jalapeno Ranch Dressing
- 1 jalapeno
- .4 oz buttermilk ranch dressing & seasoning mix packet
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Heat the smoker to 350-375 degrees.
Remove the stem from the jalapeno. Chop finely or pulse in a food processor. Combine with the ranch mix, salt, pepper, paprika and olive oil.
Rinse the chicken. Remove the giblets from the cavity. Pat it dry. Rub the jalapeno ranch mix all over the chicken.
Place the chicken on the smoker. Close the lid and smoke for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Drizzle with Jalapeno Ranch Dressing. Garnish with jalapeno slices and pickled red onions.
