Pulled Pork Sliders on a Ninja Grill

Use your leftover pulled pork to make these easy pulled pork sliders in less than 30 minutes on your Ninja Grill.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider rolls
  • 2 cups pulled pork
  • 1 tsp barbecue rub divided
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup white or sweet onion diced
  • 12 pickle slices
  • 1/2 cup Monterey jack cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp butter melted

Instructions

  • Heat Grill: Set the Ninja Grill to bake. Set the temperature to 350F degrees and the time to 20 minutes.
  • Slice Buns: Keep the buns together and slice them in half horizontally, so you have 12 connected bun bottoms and 12 connected bun tops. Place the bottom buns in the Ninja air crisp basket.
  • Layer: Spread the pork evenly over the buns. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon rub. Spoon on the sauce. Sprinkle on the onions. Add 12 pickles, centering them on each bun. Top with the cheeses and the top buns.
  • Brush: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and 1/2 teaspoon rub. Brush that on the top buns.
  • Bake: Place the basket of sliders into the grill and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve: Keep the sandwiches together and place them on a platter. Let people grab their own sliders, so they get a to experience a fun cheese pull.

Notes

For the rolls, King's Hawaiian sweet rolls or St. Pierre's brioche slider rolls work great.  
You can make these with any type of pulled or shredded meat. 
You can also use different cheeses, just make sure you pick a type of cheese that melts well. 
This easy recipe makes 12 sliders. One serving is 3 sliders.
