Having a portable gas grill is great for traveling and camping, but I’ve found that a portable grill is also great when you’re cooking for one or two on a busy weeknight.
The cooking area on my Char-Broil Grill2Go X200 Portable Gas Grill is about the size of a sheet pan. It’s the perfect size for 2-3 big rib-eyes or a couple chicken breasts and veggies.
It uses small portable propane cylinders, which are super easy to keep on hand – much easier than lugging around and refilling a 20-pound tank.
With the turn of the dial and a push of the button, the Grill2Go lights up right away and is ready in about 5 minutes.
What I really love about this grill is Char-Broil’s TRU-Infrared Cooking System. There are never any flare-ups. I cook burgers that are 80% meat and 20% fat, and they flare up often on other gas grills, which can cause them to cook too quickly on the outside.
With TRU-Infrared grill grate, there is a barrier between the food and flames, so the fat flavors the food instead of burning it.
I also love the restaurant quality grill marks I get with this grill.
Take it with you
You can easily load this grill into your trunk and take your grilling anywhere.
Cooking for two
If you cook for yourself or a significant other, you don’t need a huge grill.
Tough as the big guns
This little grill is still packed with TRU-Infrared technology, so it delivers great grill marks and juicy meat.
