Grilled Japanese Eggplant

Bring the taste of Asia to your plate in 15 minutes with grilled Japanese eggplant.

Ingredients 

  • Japanese eggplant
  • Olive oil
  • Kosher salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions 

  • Heat the grill to medium-high (375-400F degrees).
  • Cut the eggplant in half lengthwise.
  • Season with olive oil, salt and pepper.
  • Grill cut side down 7 minutes.
  • Flip grill 8 minutes.

  1. Tried this tonight and was amazing. But my favorite part was the post did not include a love letter to Japanese eggplant. Just your earned credentials of being a badass and the recipe which is really just a cooking time! which is what I needed. Simple! Excellent. Your ROCK>
