Every burger needs a few rings of grilled onions to make it complete.

 Onions
 Olive oil
 Kosher salt
 Black pepper

Heat the grill to medium-high (375-400F degrees).

Slice the onions into thick rings.

Season with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Grill 8 minutes.

Flip. Grill 8 minutes.

Tips

Using a spatula will help keep the rings together. You can also hold them together with toothpicks.
