Fireball Whisky BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup shallot, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Fireball whisky
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 6 ozs tomato paste
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp Saucy Mama chipotle mustard
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a large saucepan. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover with lid, but leave it cracked, so some steam can escape. Simmer for 1 hour.

This looks so good. How long will it keep in the fridge?
Thanks. You can keep it in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
Christie! Cant thank you enough for this delicious recipe! Making a second time now with the Fireball meatballs. Served for a party in a crockpot with some corn chips on the side. Amazing reviews!
